Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026. This Privacy Policy applies to the JDRC Media Android app, package com.jdrcmedia.app, and the JDRC Media website at jdrcmedia.com. JDRC Media is the Google Play developer name used by PlayXPc LLC.

1. Information we collect and use

JDRC Media collects or processes information only as needed to operate accounts, RC racing features, media services, purchases, security, and customer support. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Account and authentication data: email address, account identifiers, membership status, consent records, and salted password hashes. JDRC Media does not store readable account passwords.
• Driver and profile data: display name, race number, home track, racing classes, team, hometown, biography, social handles, public-profile choices, and RC car information you submit.
• Race Day and PIT OS data: track and event selections, session mode, car, race class, checklists, battery and tire assignments, setup references, next-race information, notes, timing information, post-run observations, motor/ESC/battery temperatures you enter, handling symptoms, Race Engineer recommendations and outcome feedback, garage/service records, Shared Spares inventory, Need-a-Part requests, marketplace listings, team information, and Track Pit messages.
• Media data: profile or RC car photos and other media you choose to upload, along with media ownership, assignment, purchase, and download records.
• Purchase and transaction data: email address, purchased items, payment status, transaction/session identifiers, subscription status, and billing-period information needed to provide purchases or membership access.
• Technical and security data: network request information such as IP address, browser or app user agent, timestamps, and security/error information that may be processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

2. Location data

The Android app may request approximate or precise device location when you explicitly use location-based race-day features such as Nearby Tracks, GPS-verified Track Pit presence, Shared Spares availability, or Need-a-Part matching.

JDRC Media uses foreground, one-shot location requests. The Android app does not use continuous background location tracking for these features. When location verification is requested, the device coordinates are transmitted to the JDRC Media service over HTTPS and compared with the selected track location.

The JDRC PIT OS application database does not store the raw latitude and longitude submitted for track verification. It stores the resulting verified/unverified status and the computed distance from the selected track. Track Pit presence records are temporary and normally expire after approximately 45 minutes unless refreshed by an active session; ending the session removes the active presence record.

You can deny location permission. Location-dependent features may then be unavailable or shown as session-only/unverified, but other app functions can still be used where applicable.

3. Race Engineer and AI processing

When you request an AI-assisted Race Engineer recommendation, selected racing context may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI. This context may include the handling symptom you enter, car information, race class, track name, recent timing data, post-run observations, previous test outcomes, and a limited set of candidate adjustment procedures.

JDRC Media does not intentionally send your account password, full payment-card details, or raw GPS coordinates to the Race Engineer AI prompt. AI output is advisory and may be stored with the related Race Engineer run so you can record whether a test was better, the same, or worse.

4. Payments and Stripe

Payment-card information is handled by Stripe. JDRC Media does not store full credit or debit card numbers. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud-prevention, device, and transaction information under Stripe's own privacy practices. JDRC Media may retain Stripe customer, subscription, checkout-session, payment-status, and transaction identifiers needed to provide access, fulfill purchases, manage disputes, and maintain accounting records.

5. Hosting, storage, email, and service providers

Cloudflare provides infrastructure used by JDRC Media, including web/app delivery, Cloudflare Workers, D1 database services, R2 media storage, security services, and Workers AI where enabled. Information may be processed by Cloudflare as necessary to provide those services.

Resend may be used to deliver transactional messages such as password-reset emails. When used, the destination email address and message-delivery information are processed for that purpose.

Service providers receive information only for functions they perform on behalf of JDRC Media or where independently required to complete a transaction.

6. Cookies, local storage, and app storage

The website and embedded web experience may use cookies or browser/local storage for authentication, shopping-cart state, interface preferences, and similar service functions. Secure authentication cookies are used for signed-in sessions. Stripe may use its own cookies or comparable technologies during web checkout. The Android app may also maintain local app or WebView state needed to operate the signed-in experience.

7. How information is shared

Some information is intentionally visible to other JDRC users when you choose community features. For example, approved driver-profile information, team identity, race number, marketplace listings, Shared Spares marked for track sharing, Track Pit messages, and other content you publish may be visible to the relevant audience.

JDRC Media may also disclose information to service providers described above, to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect users or the service from fraud/abuse, or as necessary to complete transactions. We do not disclose account passwords or full payment-card numbers because JDRC Media does not store those values in readable/full form.

8. Data retention

Account, profile, PIT OS, garage, community, and related service data may be retained while the account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service. Temporary presence records use shorter expiration periods as described above.

When an account-deletion request is completed, data associated with that account is deleted or de-identified except for information that must be retained for legitimate purposes such as tax/accounting obligations, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of transactions. Retained records are limited to the purpose requiring retention and are not used to recreate the deleted account.

9. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of a JDRC Media member account, driver account, or both. The external account-deletion resource is:

You may also contact jdamrcvideos@outlook.com. Do not send your password or payment-card information. If an active JDRC membership is associated with the account, the membership will be addressed as part of processing the deletion request. Certain transaction records may still be retained as described in the Data retention section.

10. Security

JDRC Media uses HTTPS, restricted administrative access, salted password hashing, authenticated API routes, and service-provider security controls intended to protect user information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional profile fields, may deny device-location permission, may stop using community-sharing features, and may request correction or deletion of account-associated personal information. Some features cannot function without the information necessary to provide them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when JDRC Media features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL with its last-updated date.
